This week is---No Country for Old Men, Dan in Real Life, Nightmare Man, Crazy Eights
No Country for Old Men-- Obviously this movie has had a lot of hype since being in theatres and in case you didn't know won movie of the year. That being said it is a very solid film, somehow making 2 hours of slow paced action go by fast. Javier deserves all of his accolades because he completely steals the show and leaves the viewer waiting for him to appear again. Now as for film of the year...eh no. Really I don't see why this movie got so much attention while Zodiac didn't being that they were paced very similarly. Definitely still a good watch though.
Dan in Real Life-- Ok I'll say it from the beginning, I thought this was going to be a regular comedy, but I'm only 23 not yet 40 so I have a bit of a hard time enjoying this heartwarming comedy. It has overtly smart kids, an overprotective single parent, and as usual a dousche like character played by dane cook.
